A lithophane is a photograph printed as thickness rather than ink. Where the picture is dark the wall is printed thick, where it is light it is printed thin — so unlit it reads as a pale panel, and with a light behind it the photograph appears, held in the material itself. Nothing is printed on the surface, so there is nothing to fade. Roughly ⌀ 10 cm and 7–10 cm tall — the exact size follows the photographs, and other sizes are made to order. Mains LED lamp and a stand. Up to four photographs run around the circle, so the picture keeps going as you turn it. For a wedding it works as a series: four pictures from the same day, one to each side. Send the photograph and we will tell you how it will read before anything is printed.
